The scientific and pedagogical staff of the department actively combines teaching with scientific activities, which contributes to improving the level of efficiency of the educational process, improving the content of training taking into account the current state and tendencies of development of foreign economic, tourist and customs activities, implementation of advanced methods of providing training methods teaching.
The main forms of scientific activity of the scientific and pedagogical staff of the department are:
implementation of state budget research works;
preparation of dissertation works for obtaining the scientific degrees of Doctor of Philosophy and Doctor of Science postgraduate students and teachers of the department;
writing educational and methodical works, monographs, lecture notes, scientific articles, etc .;
participation of the teaching staff of the department in all-Ukrainian and international scientific-practical and scientific-methodological conferences;
internship of the teaching staff of the department at NAS institutions, educational institutions of Ukraine and foreign countries, as well as at enterprises;
scientific cooperation with state authorities, local self-government, scientific institutions, customs structures, customs-broker organizations, enterprises of various types of activities in the form of round tables, symposia, conferences, seminars, etc. is envisaged;
involvement of students in scientific work, etc.
